The Hensler trophy

The Hensler Trophy was donated to the Canadian Sculling Marathon (CSM) in 2014 by Alistair Hensler, an avid ONEC rower, who only started in the sport when he became a senior citizen.

Alistair has completed most of the full 42K CSMs in either a double or a quad. The full marathon can be a difficult challenge and Alistair wanted to recognize not only those who completed the full CSM in the fastest time but also all participants who endured and completed the distance.

The trophy is therefore awarded annually to the club with the most entrants who complete the full 42k cSM.
